I have a 15ibs, 6 months old baby. I have been experimenting with various cloth diapers and these are some of my favourites. I find the double gusset pocket diapers actually help with blow outs (although fair warning, my baby is a grazing, breastfed child, I know formula fed can be different, I can't speak to that). I use one insert during the day, changing her around every three hours and I use two inserts for overnight. Overnight she still feeds twice and I find there are no leaks after 10-12 hours in the diapers. One insert holds just under 1 cup of water, but will squish out if you squeeze hard.
I would recommend these for anyone looking to try cloth diapers.

When I first started my research on cloth diapering, I was dead against the idea of also using reusable wipes. But I eventually came around to the idea when I realized its less work to have ONE laundry bag for wipes AND cloth diapers instead of having both a laundry bag for the cloth diapers and a separate garbage to dispose of the wipes. The wipes work so well to clean up soils, are so soft on skin, wash up so well, dry quickly, and I have found they do not stain either! I keep mine in a cloth wipes warmer at the change station, so they are moist and warm and pleasant to use. In the end, my daughter had allergies to seemingly all the disposable wipes on the market, so these ended up being a must anyways! I have also found that you have to use more disposable wipes than cloth ones to get baby's bum clean of their soil. We have been using our cloth wipes for 20 months now, and they are as clean, soft and same size as when I originally bought them. I thought they would shrink, feel thin or scratchy and super stained at this point, but they are not. For reference, my cloth wipes warmer (Lionheart brand) holds about 20 wipes at a time, so I liked owning about 40 so that I could prepare a new batch right away while the rest were in the wash. But you could likely get away with having less wipes in total. If you're on the fence about cloth wipes, I say do it! Or, at least buy one pack, wet them and put into a ziplock bag and test them out with your cloth diapers to see what you think of them.

I purchased these for my granddaughter. They are great! My daughter loves them. The prints are adorable.

These are my favorite reusable diapers! The wide elastic is a great upgrade from the regular pocket diapers, they don’t leave a mark and fit even better. The inserts hold a lot and they rarely leak. The lining is soft a keeps my baby dry and cool. If you’re debating which diapers to go with, buy these!
